I am an undergraduate doing my first research task. However, I encountered a problem at the first step since I am new to IllustrisTNG. My supervisor asked me to download a single halo and a galaxy's particle (for further analysis), but I didn't find the way. I have found some information about how to search/read the data of one halo/galaxy based on a fully-downloaded snapshot file. But downloading the entire snapshot file seems too big for my poor laptop(if necessary, I can download at most 1 snapshot).
By the way, does snapshot 99 contain all information of halos' existed previously?
My questions might be quite trivial for you, sorry for bothering.
