We have observed that the power spectrum of the κ maps derived through ray tracing from TNG300-1-Dark data is approximately 5%–10% lower than the theoretical prediction. Could this discrepancy indicate that the matter power spectrum in the TNG300-1-Dark simulation itself is also lower than expected? I would greatly appreciate your insights.
Thank you for your response. I still have some questions. For TNG300-1-Dark, is its matter power spectrum similar to the DMO part of TNG300-1 (the blue line in Figure 4)?

Have you compared your results to e.g. Fig 4 of Springel+18 for TNG300-1?
