Hi, I have gone through the part Galactic Wind in Simulating galaxy formation with the IllustrisTNG model (Pillepich et al. 2018), and I have known some science and technique details of the wind particles launched by SNe. In the same paper, the part Formation, growth and feedback of BHs gives a brief introduction to AGN feedback and how the AGN wind is implemented. My questions are as follows,
Will AGN launch wind particles? (In my primary understanding, I would like to say yes for this question)
If AGN launch wind particle, is there any differences in technique between the AGN-driven wind particles and SNe-driven particles? (The physical differences are a big and complex topic, and I just wonder the implementation in TNG simulations)
Many thanks!

No, the AGN feedback model of TNG does not involve wind particles in any way. It always injects energy (thermal or kinetic) into surrounding gas, directly.
