I have seen that the Magnetic Field units are sqrt(pressure), suggesting that this is the square of the magnetic pressure/energy density which is (1/2)*[B^2/mu]. Is it really the case or there is something missing like the 1/2 factor?

The units (as described under PartType0 on the data specifications page) are correct for TNG.
