Hi, I was wondering what exact smoothing cubic-spline SPH kernel size was used when calculating SubfindDMDensity for star particles in TNG50-1. Was it SubfindHsml, 0.5*SubfindHsml, or something else? I tried these two values, and 0.5*SubfindHsml yields much more consistent results with your snapshot data, although at low densities my estimates tend to be lower than your results. Thanks!

The radius (h parameter) should be 1.0*SubfindHsml.
