TNG100-1: retrieve raw tracers by gas-cell ParentID?

For a TNG100-1 full snapshot (for example 84), is there a supported API or index for retrieving only PartType3 ParentID/TracerID rows whose ParentID matches a supplied list of gas-cell ParticleIDs? I need an independent selection at that snapshot, rather than a cohort defined by z=0 FoF membership. A yes/no and a documentation link or minimal example would be enough. Thank you.

No, there is not. However, the calculation is quite simple (although it needs a lot of memory). One approach is a sorted bisection search to cross-match between the two sets of IDs.
