Has the Illustris data been removed or deleted, because all my attempts to get the data, both individually and with the wget script results in error 404?
Apologies about that, something got messed up for data coming from www.illustris-project.org during the TNG data release.
Note you may want to try downloading Illustris data from www.tng-project.org (you'll see it is also available on the list of simulations there). In this case the delivery is currently from Germany instead of the U.S., and may be faster.
